Jivatman (individual self)
–
individual ‘I’ and consciousness, which also has connections with the Divine as
our innermost being.

yogic path to freedom via wisdom, discernment
and intuitive insight.
Kabbalah
–
a mystical branch of the Jewish wisdom tradition.
Karma (action)
–
refers to ‘actions having consequences’ and the will, which therefore have an
effect on one’s spiritual progress, in either a positive or negative way, in
this life or a future one.
Karma Yoga (yoga of action)
–
a path that leads to spiritual liberation through skilful willed actions.
Koan
–
a paradoxical riddle used in Zen Buddhism to break-through rational thinking and
bring about a state of enlightenment.
Kundalini Yoga (yoga of psychic energy)
–
a path that seeks liberation through the use of creative psychic energy.
Letting Go
–
the ability to release psychological wounds, worries, and restrictive and
unskilful thoughts and feelings.
Liberation
–
freedom from psychological states and worldly conditioning which
restrict the true spiritual nature of our being.
Liberation Theology
–
a school of Christian theology that draws on the life and teachings of Jesus as
a model for liberating the poor and oppressed. It places emphasis on political
activism to bring about individual and social justice.
Loving-kindness
–
generally refers to the Buddhist practice of generating non-attached
friendliness to all sentient beings, including oneself.
Lower Self
–
part of our being that is in disharmony with its True Spiritual Nature.
